Once upon a time there was a beautiful young maiden.  She was so beautiful and fair she caught the eye of an Angel gazing down from on high.  The Angel wanted the woman above all things and risked his position with the Most High to have the woman.  A seed was planted and from that seed the great race of Quel'Thalas was born.  Some called them Elves, others called them Demons, but what they truly were was a mixed race of Angel and Human.   Talented, beautiful, wise and kind they were unlike any other beings.  Today there is but one Quel'Thalas remaining. Brought to the throne of Mirador through the shed blood of many, Queen Shirin rules with a fair hand and a strong heart.  She is surrounded by those who would fight to the death to see her place upon Mirador's throne assured.
