The portals used to travel from place to place in Shalott have often been the subject of controversy.  Where did they come from?  Who controls them?  Questions without answers. Though the portals are guarded what comes pouring through their archways cannot be abated by simple guards.   Their arrival could change the future of Shalott forever.
