We are a group of RPer's who want to write without drama or our pasts being held against us.  So here is our promise.  We don't ask questions about who you are or why you are here.  Come one, come all, bring your fae, your witches, your lords, ladies, knights and damsels, your magicks and your gifts.   Consider this a fresh start to something relaxed and fun.  

 

Remember the RP days of all the Kingdoms?  Interkingdom fetes and jousts?  The creativity of the fantasy medieval genre sparked imaginations with its colorful phrases and pageantry.  It can be that way again. All it takes is the desire.  Being a high fantasy genre there lies within our grasp limitless opportunities to stretch our imaginations. 

 

The players of Mirador build the Kingdom, therefore it is a dynamic RP writing group.   As each day passes new things unfold and the players write the details and boundaries for things such as religion, the military and creatures within Mirador so it becomes a true community created from nothing but the imaginations of the group en masse.  

 

Mirador will have a common enemy we can fight against, plots that involve the entire group not just a few.   It is based on creative writing, not dice or cliques.  The dilemma or twist will be presented on the forum and everyone can jump in and do their part.  We have NPC enemies with plenty enough powers for you to fight against.  

 

Expect adult situations, conflicts, and moral dilemmas.  Lamenting the fact that there is incest or slavery will be ignored.  This is fantasy, many things happen, if you do not like what is happening do not play in that situation, there should be plenty more for you to indulge.  

 

Women are considered equal in this society unless they have submitted to being a slave.  People submit to being slaves for various reasons.  Money, to repay a debt, and so on.   That is a choice and is not something to be debated or from which she or he needs "rescued".   A simple petition to the Royal House of Quel'Thalas can dissolve the contract of slavery.  

 

This does NOT include enemies of Mirador who may take slaves as a way of degrading those of Mirador or as a work force to accomplish evil deeds. ;)  

 

Do not come with plans on changing the basic premise of Mirador for it was conceived from the imagination of the creator who holds rights to this story.  However, please come with your ideas on how to expand and enhance Mirador, that is always welcome, your stories within Mirador are yours as are any characters you bring to the play.

The OOC rules are simple.  Playground rules.  

 

1. No bullying. 

2. No fighting. 

3. No tattling. 

4. No stealing. 

5. No whining.  

 

Bring all things you cannot resolve to me (asongoflife@aol.com) and I will handle them.

 

The IC laws are equally simple.  

 

1.  No killing. 

2.  No stealing. 

3.  No rape. 

4.  No divorces. 

5.  No abuse of children. 

6.  The Queen's word is law. 

7.   All forms of abuse of power or strength will be duly punished.  

 

With that being said, they are simply the IC laws, "bad guys"  or "enemies of the Crown" will likely do all of these.  ;p

 

All of Mirador lore is spelled out in detail on the forum.  If you become a member of Mirador you will have access to the lore and have opportunities to contribute to the lore as it evolves within the storytelling.   I, asongoflife@aol.com,  will moderate these things to be sure there are no contradictions from previous play or already written lore.   

 

The Lords and Advisors of the Houses of Mirador and chars open for play are the property of the storyline.  Keep in mind that all final decisions belong to that of the designer, asongoflife@aol.com.
